Update on the ongoing UN Climate Change Conference in Cancun COP16 in Mexico from Nov 29 – Dec 10, 2010.

Negotiating to include youth in the Article 6 text in G77 & China meeting (or in other words, trying to look like I know what I am doing).

An intervention as an official Philippine delegate to support youth at the G77 & China meeting on Article 6 of the convention – which focuses on education, training, and public awareness activities.

CEBU – Climate Hero Forum @ the University of Cebu, Main Campus on February 12, 2010. Where Mr. Neil Nadela was awarded Climate Hero. UC Students also helped develop the criteria for the selection of future Climate Hero Awardees as part of the workshop we had to involve the students in shaping up PhilYCM.

CEBU – February 4, 2010. Climate Hero Forum at STI College Cebu, Inc. Lahug Cebu City. Where about 200 students were in attendance. All from the NSTP program where environmental projects are nothing new to them. For this very reason, they were recognized as Climate Heroes along with their Adviser Mdme Jemma Perez.
